Raymond 'Doc' Davis

LEWISTON — Raymond O. Davis, 85, a life long resident of Greene, passed away Oct. 18, at d'Youville Pavilion, where he had resided for almost two years.

He was born in Lewiston, May 27, 1927, the son of Walter Davis and Eve (Jordan) Davis. He was happiest on his farm in Greene, where he was raised and lived his whole life. He entered the U.S. Army in September 1950, and served his country until September 1952. He served for the military police at his base in Germany. He was then employed at Bates Mill, until retirement.

He is survived by his only daughter, Judy Bubier of Lewiston; three grandchildren and their families, Lori Marschall and husband, Ben, of Turner, Darcey Bubier and wife, Karin, of Auburn and Trena MacKenzie and husband, Rick, of Minot; also seven great-grandchildren, Nick, Ashlee, Kelsea, Kailey, Kobe, Krista and Ross; three great-great-grandsons, Tucker, Easton and Colton; and his beloved companion of 36 years, Virginia Huntington of Auburn.
