AUBURN — Frances M. Murray, 74, of 620 College Road, Lewiston, died Saturday, Nov. 3, at Clover Manor.
Born in Greene on Oct. 16, 1938, she was the daughter of Nathan O. and Margaret M. Croteau Helms. Educated in local schools, she married Joseph T. Murray on Feb. 27, 1960.
A member of the former St. Joseph’s Church, she enjoyed baking, sewing, decorating cakes, quilting, spending time with her dog Do-Do and caring for her extended family.
Survivors include her loving husband, Joseph Murray of Lewiston; two daughters, Laura and husband, Mark Barry, of Mechanic Falls, and Tina Hebert and longtime companion, Jerry Boucher, of Lewiston; a son, Andrew and wife, Patricia, of Auburn; a sister, Nathalie and husband, Larry Veilleux, of Greene; seven grandchildren, Nicholas Hogan and wife, Jennifer, Zachary Hebert and wife, Jean, Joseph Hogan, Kira Hebert, Kayla Hutchinson and husband, Adam, Amber-Rose Bissonnette and Orion Murray; and six great-grandchildren, Beatrice Chambless, Sydney Hutchinson, Saryah Hutchinson, Matthew Blair, Fynnigan Hutchinson and Chase Hogan.
