SOUTH PARIS — Jennie V. Kilponen, 81, of South Paris, passed away on Saturday, Nov. 3, at Market Square Health Center.

She was born in West Paris, June 15, 1931, the daughter of Joseph and Inez Ring. She was educated in local schools and married Ellis Kilponen Sr., Aug. 18, 1955.
She worked at Penley's and Mecon Manufacturing for many years. She enjoyed going for rides and clipping coupons.
She is survived by her children, Gail Farr of Canton, Loraine Bonney and her husband, Kirby, of Sumner, Debra Kangas of West Paris, Karen Morse and companion of New Hampshire, Belinda Edmunds and her husband, Paul, of Waterford, Mark Kilponen of South Paris, Ellis Kilponen Jr. and his wife, Kathy, of South Paris; 16 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; her brother, Jim Ring and wife, Rose, of West Paris; her sister, Dolly Walker of South Paris; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband of 53 years; her brother, Jack Ring; and her son-in-law, Leland Kangas.
