LEWISTON — Paul A. Gosselin, 69, of 158 Russell St., Lewiston, passed away, Wednesday, Nov. 14, at Russell Park Rehabilitation & Living Center due to complications of diabetes.
He was born in Lewiston, May 18, 1943, the son of Louis E. and Annette (St. Marie) Gosselin. He was a graduate of Lewiston High School, Class of 1961.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army from 1961 to1964 having served with the 44th Construction Engineers and 538th at Ft. Knox, Ky.
He was employed as a stitching room machinist and retired from Rodco Enterprises in 1996 due to his illness.
Since retirement, Paul enjoyed feeding birds in his backyard and raising monarch butterflies in the summer. His hobbies included fishing and hunting at First Roach Pond with friends where he bagged a moose in 1994.
He is survived by his mother, Annette F. Gosselin; two brothers, Gerard and Ronald Gosselin; three nephews, Brian and Normand Gosselin and Lucas Brown; five nieces, Christina and Dawn Gosselin, Bethany Boivin, Penelope York and Meredith Bari; and many grandnephews and grandnieces.
He was predeceased by his father, Louis E. Gosselin in 2004; and a sister-in-law, Clare Gosselin this year.
