KINGFIELD — Todd Jeffrey Mueller, 70, of Kingfield, ME., died unexpectedly Nov. 14, at Franklin Memorial Hospital.
He was born July 1942 in Erie PA, son of Karl Wilhem Mueller and Ilse Weber Mueller.
He attended Hotchkiss School in Lakeville, Ct.
He attended Yale University graduating Cum Laude in 1964.
Later attended University Virginia Medical School, with a junior year in Munich Germany, where much of his German Family resided.
Graduation was followed by a surgical residency at Roosevelt Hospital in NYC.
Todd served as a Special Forces Doctor in the US Army during the Late 1960’s and early 1970’s. Later he was assigned to the 5th Special Forces Group Airborne (Green Berets) as a Captain.
Todd became one of the first 100 certified emergency room physicians in the U.S., working in multiple Boston Area Hospitals, where he worked till he retired at age 50.
He is survived by his brother James Mueller of Oregon.
Todd is predeceased by his father, Karl Wilhem Muelle; his mother Ilse Weber Mueller and his sister Sibyl Weinstein, as well his soul mate of 12 years Crystal Gareau.
