WALES — Gerard "Gerry" N. Parent, 49, of East Road, Wales, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 20.

Gerard 'Gerry' N. Parent

He was born in Lewiston, March 13, 1963, the son of Newman and Venise (Letourneau) Parent. He was educated in Lewiston schools.

Gerry worked for himself (Parent Properties & Construction) as a carpenter for many years.

He was a member of the Carlton Club, the North American Hunting Club and the National Riffle Association.

He enjoyed wood working and making things for his loved ones; was an avid outdoors man; family man and loved nothing more than to spend his time in the woods “hunting.” His girls, little Bubba and his dog were his world.

He leaves behind his wife, Becky Brown of Wales; his parents, Newman and Venise Parent of Lewiston; his two daughters, Meghan Parent and her companion, Herbert Weedon, of Lewiston and Morghan Parent and her companion, Carl Henson, of Lewiston; two stepdaughters, Rhiannon Brown and her fiance, Matthew McComish, of North Carolina, and Taylor Cote and her husband, Nathan, of Auburn; his grandson, Camren James Parent “Lil Bubba”; a stepgrandaughter, Audrey Oquindo; his brother; and sisters.

His dog/companion, “Anna Blue” will miss him dearly.

He was predeceased by two daughters, Stefani Lynn and Brittani Leigh Parent.

He will lovingly be remembered as “Pappy,” by his grandson.
