LEWISTON — Donald W. Jumper, 76, of Lewiston, passed away Friday, Nov. 30, at his home.
He was born in Auburn, May 23, 1936, son of the late Fred Oscar Jumper and Florence Dowling. Don was educated in Lewiston schools and was married to Patricia Jordan, who predeceased him Nov. 15, 2004. He was employed as a plumber, working for Terry Plumbing and Heating and later establishing S & D Plumbing and Heating with his partner, Stanley Coy.
Don was a member of the former St. Patrick's Church, Ashlar Lodge 105 AF & AM, Lewiston Lodge of Perfection, Auburn Council Princes of Jerusalem, H.H. Dickey Chapter Rose Croix, Maine Consistory Valley of Portland 32nd degree and Kora Temple in Lewiston.
Don will be sadly missed by his family and wide circle of many friends.
He is survived by his twin brother, David O. Jumper and wife, Judith (Gurney), of Lewiston; a brother-in-law, Joseph Reardon of Lewiston; three nieces, Kathleen Burns and husband, David, Karen Scahill and husband, Richard and Lynn Lepage and husband, Mike; a nephew, Mark Jumper and wife, Anne; and many great-nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a sister, Constance Reardon.
