Ray P. Burnham

LEWISTON — Ray P. Burnham, 85, a resident of Sabattus Street, Lewiston, died Thursday, Dec. 6, at Marshwood Center, following a short illness.

He was born in Livermore Falls, Jan. 1, 1927, the son of George Burnham Sr. and Gertrude B. Sutton. He was employed for more than 30 years for Paul Lafonde Electricians, until his retirement. Ray was an avid fisherman, who loved the outdoors.

Survivors include many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, the former Rose Bennett, Aug. 15, 2011; as well as four brothers, his twin brother, Raymond H. Burnham, Freeman Bryant, Alexander Wing Sr. and Royal Burnham; and one sister, Mabel Hamilton.
