Julie Anne Kirby

MAUI, Hawaii — Julie Anne Kirby, 54, of Kula, Hawaii, died Oct. 12, at Maui, Hawaii.

She was born in Portland, Dec. 18, 1957, the daughter of John W. "Jack" MacHardy and Beverly Johnson MacHardy, who died May 21. She grew up in Mechanic Falls and moved to Kenai, Alaska, when she married Tim Conner.

She is survived by her husband, Stephen Kirby, Kula, Hawaii; her father, John MacHardy, Summerfield, Fla.; sister, Sandra Bressette and her husband, David, South Carolina; daughter, Olivia Conner, Boulder, Colo.; son, Nathan Conner, Kenai, Alaska; an uncle and aunt, William and Judith MacHardy, Durham, N.H.; a niece, Kara Bressette, Lexington, S.C.; a nephew, Mark Bressette, U.S. Army; a great-aunt, Mary Blake, Squim, Wash.; and several cousins.

A celebration of life will be held at Maui, Hawaii sometime in the future.
