NORWAY — Fay B. Roberts, 88, of Woodstock, died Sunday, Dec. 30, at Stephens Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Rumford, July 20, 1924, the daughter of Harry and Winola Millett Billings. She married David E. Roberts. She worked for Echo Tibbetts in Locke Mills and for Bass Shoe in Rumford. Fay loved her family and attending their school and sporting events, she especially enjoyed watching baseball, softball and field hockey.
She is survived by her daughter, Sonja Davis and husband, Phil; sons, Timothy Roberts and wife, Yvonne, David Roberts and Gregory Roberts and wife, Diane; sister, Beverly Brown and husband, Gordon; grandchildren, Holly, Heather, Dawn, Lori, Nicole, Pamela, Bruce, Daniel and Kayla; great-grandchildren, Kaleb Currier, Ella Kellogg, Grady Kellogg, Kyle McLendon and Haley Dunlap; and a great-great-granddaughter, Avery McLendon.
She was predeceased by her husband, David E. Roberts; daughter, Cheryl Roberts Redman; her parents, Harry and Winola Billings; brothers, Lee, Gordon and Scott Billings; a sister, Carolyn Brown; and a great-grandson, Colby McLendon.
