WILMINGTON, Mass. — Laurier “Larry” A. Beaulieu, 85, a resident of Reading, Mass., since 1971, died peacefully Saturday, Jan. 5, at Woodbriar Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing.
Larry, the son of the late Louis and Annie (Gilbert) Beaulieu, was born in Lewiston, June 15, 1927. He was educated in Lewiston public schools and graduated from Lewiston High School.
Larry served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a graduate of the U.S. Naval School of Naval Justice in Port Hueneme, Calif., in 1946. He earned his BSBA at Babson College in 1951, and his MBA from the University of Maine, Orono.
He maintained his lifelong connection to Maine through his second home in Naples, where he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was especially devoted to his two granddaughters.
Larry will be missed by his wife of 55 years, Florence; his son, Laurier Jr. of Reading, Mass.; his daughter, Theresa (Beaulieu) Morris and her husband, Sean, of Andover, Mass.; his two granddaughters, Meghan and Bridget Morris of Andover, Mass.; his sister, Jacqueline Grandmaison and her husband, Ronald, of New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his son, Charles; his two brothers, Louis and Bertrand; and his three sisters, Laurette Meservier, Dorel Ouellette and Doris Beaulieu.
