AUBURN — Laurianne C. Anctil, 63, of Auburn, died unexpectedly on Friday, Jan. 11.

She was born in Lewiston, Aug. 20, 1949, the daughter of Benoit and Therese (Fortin) Doyon. Laurianne was educated in local schools and graduated from Edward Little High School, Class of 1967.

Later on in life, she returned to school and in 1999, received her bachelor degree in Social and Behavior Science. Laurianne also earned her license in Massage Therapy and has had her own practice for the past 19 years. She had a passion for learning and loved to share what she learned with those around her.

Laurianne was a member of the Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce. She loved music and singing and even recorded a CD of some of her favorite songs. She enjoyed spending time at the ocean and with family and friends. Laurianne was a very caring person and would help anyone who needed a helping hand. She will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her.

Laurianne leaves her mother, Therese Doyon of Auburn; two daughters, Kristine Stevens and husband, Eric, of Jackman and Shirley Douglas and husband, Patrick, of Gorham; a sister, Constance Lanneuville of Auburn; a brother, Conrad Doyon of Auburn; her aunt, Marie Rodrigue of Auburn; her four grandchildren, Katie and Andrew Morissette, Hannah Douglas and Alyssa Stevens; and a grandson on the way, Dillon Stevens.

She was predeceased by her father, Benoit Doyon.
