TOGUS — J. Edmond Levesque Jr., 71, a resident of Mancine Road, Turner, died Friday, at the VA Hospice, following a long illness.
He was born in Lewiston, July 25, 1941, the son of Edmond and Cecile (Bonneau) Levesque.
He was educated in Lewiston schools and graduated from Lewiston High School in 1960. Eddie was very involved in local softball, including coaching West Breeze and the Pinette Dillingham & Son softball teams. He was an avid collector also of baseball and sports cards.
Survivors include two sons, Thomas Levesque and fiancee, Candi Rousseau, of Sumner, and Todd Baresi of Lewiston; one daughter, Tamara Lee Castro and fiance, Russell Sites, of Maryland; one sister, Janet Lapin and husband, Richard, of Greene; and four grandchildren, Marcus and Sandoval Castro, and Wakiza and Hateya Levesque.
He was predeceased by his wife, Patricia, in 2009.
