LISBON — G. Joan Gagne, 79, of Ferry Road, Lisbon, passed away Saturday, Feb. 16, with her family by her side.
She was born in Auburn on May 15, 1933, the daughter of the late Charles and Edith (Hanscom) Leavitt. She attended Edward Little High School and worked at Health Tex, Inc. in Brunswick for fifteen years, and at Tambrands Inc. in Auburn for seven years prior to her retirement.
She enjoyed roller-skating and was on an area bowling league.
She is survived by one daughter, Theresa and her husband, Eddie Santiago, of
Pennsylvania; two brothers, Gard Leavitt and his wife, Sandra, of Auburn, and Richard “Dick” Leavitt of Auburn; a sister, Dolly Eastman of Auburn; two grandchildren, Sabrina Cunningham and Dottie-Joe Martin; four great-grandchildren; and three lifelong friends, Dot Salac and her children, Alan and Dottie-Ann.
