Daniel A. Ducharme

LYMAN — Daniel A. Ducharme, 42, of Clearwater, Fla., and formerly of Lewiston, died on Sunday, March 3, at his mother’s home in Lyman.

He was born in Lewiston, Sept. 21, 1970, a son of Maurice E. Ducharme of Freeport and Bernice F. (Filiault) Ducharme of Lyman. He grew up in Lewiston, attending local schools and graduating from Lewiston High School. After high school, he attended the Galen Health Institutes and obtained an associate’s degree in nursing. He then went on to work as an LPN for Windmore Health and Rehab Institutes in Florida.

Daniel enjoyed tennis and skiing and was an avid Patriots, Red Sox and Bruins fan. He stayed faithful to his hometown teams even after moving to Florida.

Besides his parents he is survived by his sister, Kara Monette, her husband, Gregg and their children, Cameron and Conner, all of Berwick; his stepson, Daniel Thurston, whom he raised; as well as his beloved dog “Jack.”

He was also the beloved brother of the late Timothy B. Ducharme, who died on June 18, 2009; and the grandson of the late Joseph and Bernadette Filiault and Albert and Alma Ducharme.
