LEWISTON — Yvette L. Cloutier, 92, a longtime resident of Depot Street, Livermore Falls, died Saturday, March 9, at Russell Park Manor in Lewiston.

Yvette L. Cloutier

She was born April 3, 1920, in Berlin, N.H., the daughter of Pierre and Yvonne (Rousseau) Desjardins. She attended school in Berlin and St. Rose of Lima School in Jay.

On Sept. 22, 1941, at St. Rose of Lima Church in Jay, she married her husband of 47 years, Flavien Cloutier of Jay. He passed away in 1988. She was a devoted wife and mother and spent her years caring for her family.

She was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church, a member of the Jay Senior Citizens and the AMVETS Post 33 Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her four sons, Raymond Cloutier and his wife, Janice, of Greene, Roger Cloutier, Rene Cloutier and his wife, Barbara, of Livermore Falls, and Reynald Cloutier and his wife, Denise, of Jay; four daughters, Louise Tardiff and her husband, Reginald, of Jay, Lorraine Real and her husband, Winfield, of Wilton and Arizona, Rita Dyer of Augusta, and Jeannette Hiltz of Fayette; 15 grandchildren, Emily Jones and her husband, Karlton, Curtis Cloutier, Peter Cloutier and his wife, Chrissy, Wendy Berube, Ranae Litalien and her husband, Matt, Ryan Cloutier, Debbie Tardiff, Regina Tardiff, Matt Cloutier and his fiancée, Chelsea, Heather Dyer, Nellane Corriveau, Amy McDaniel and her husband, Vern, Sarah Cloutier, Carl Real, Marie Real and companion, Dan; 16 great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; her sister, Alice Warren of Livermore Falls; and her daughter-in-law, Betty Cloutier of Livermore Falls.

She was predeceased by her infant son, Harvey; and son, Normand Cloutier.
