PARIS — A local man is charged with sexually abusing a 15-year-old girl, police Chief David Verrier said.

Joshua E. Littlefield, 28, of 62 Upper Swallow Road, was charged Wednesday with sexual abuse of a minor.
Verrier said the department received information that the incident occurred in the past couple of weeks. Detective Zane Loper of the Paris Police Department arrested Littlefield on Wednesday afternoon.
Littlefield was released Thursday on $1,500 cash bail.
