Seniors enjoy March Madness lunch at Harrison

HARRISON — Seniors from town and surrounding communities recently celebrated the impending arrival of spring during the Recreation Department’s annual Senior March Madness luncheon.

The event at the Fire Station began with a roast turkey dinner and all the fixings followed by bingo. Recreation Director Paula Holt said Beulah Holden was the lucky winner of the giant Easter basket. A team of volunteers helped prepare for the event and clean up.

The next senior luncheon is scheduled for Tuesday, April 3, at the United Parish Congregational Church in Harrison. Call Holt at 583-2241 for more information.
