Sam Kriger of Norway checks out Doug Kirk's 1931 Model A Ford at Uptown Cruizahs night Monday in the parking lot of Tractor Supply Company in Oxford. Kirk, of Leeds, said he fixed up the car for his daughter to drive when she was in high school. The Uptown Cruizahs is holding its annual car show Sunday, Aug. 5, at the New Balance store in Oxford. The Uptown Cruizahs raises money for the Maine Veterans' Home and for Christmas presents for area children by selling food and admission tickets. Uptown Cruizahs President Les Wing said he expects about 200 classic cars from around the state at Sunday's event.
