Contra dance scheduled for Halloween weekend

NORWAY — The fifth Saturday Norway Contra Dance has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. Oct. 27 in the Norway Grange.

Julia Plumb will perform on fiddle with Bill Olson on guitar. Olson will also call the dance. Dancers are invited to come in their ghoulish best as fitting the season.

To pay for the talent and the Grange Hall, a donation of $10 is appreciated at the door. Children under the age of 10 will be admitted for free. Last year's Halloween contra dance was snowed out.

The contra dance series is sponsored by Western Foothills Land Trust and Norway Downtown. The Norway Grange is on Whitman Street.
