RUMFORD — The American Legion Auxiliary Unit 24 is looking for families to submit pictures of their beloved soldier or veteran to help create a wall of memory.
The wall is for the second annual Super Benefit on April 7.
“We will be honoring local soldiers and veterans,” Kelly DeRoche, second vice president, said in a news release.
“We are looking for families to submit pictures of their beloved soldier or veteran so we can create a wall of memory. If you would like others to know more about your veteran and their service career, please feel free to submit a small write-up with the picture.
Those submitting pictures are asked to send a photocopied image as the auxiliary won't be able to return the original.
Photocopied pictures and write-ups may be delivered to the American Legion on upper Congress Street in Rumford, or call DeRoche at 357-5530 and she will pick them up.
