A big-air competition scheduled for Saturday at Black Mountain of Maine's Winter Festival 2012 in Rumford was postponed to 2 p.m. Sunday. Getting in some airborne twisting practice off the 45-foot jump is Cody Michaud of Rumford. Warm weather also bumped Saturday's 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. horse-drawn sleigh rides to Sunday.

Saturday's temperatures in the low 40s during Winter Festival 2012 at Black Mountain of Maine in Rumford were warm enough for Andrew Mills, 13, of Scarborough, to wear shorts while making a snowman. Mills was at Black Mountain to watch his sister compete in the high school shootout slalom competition for a berth on the Maine Ski Team.
