Mexico police officer William Cook said Sara Worcester, 40, of Mexico, the driver of the 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan minivan, attempted to pass a tractor-trailer flatbed truck driven by Earl Cummings, 55, of Sherman, as it turned right off Veterans Bridge onto Route 2 on Friday afternoon. Cook said the rig had its right-turn directional lights on at the time. Damage to the minivan was estimated at $8,000; damage to the big rig was to a directional signal. There were no injuries and no charges.
Damage was estimated at $8,000 to the 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan minivan driven by Sara Worcester, 40, of Mexico, who attempted to pass between a right-turning tractor-trailer truck and a guardrail off Veterans Bridge onto Route 2 on Friday afternoon in Mexico. There were no injuries. Damage to the tractor-trailer was limited to a directional light on the side of the flatbed trailer, Mexico police officer William Cook said.

Guess who missed....
Guess who didn't see the picture of the truck with the "Passing side/ Suicide" stickers on it in the SJ a couple of days ago. They make more sense now. That driver was extremely lucky. If that trailer had been loaded, the mini- van could have wound up in the river......
