Trinity's Annual Yard / Plant / Bake Sale will be held Saturday, May 26th inside and outside Trinity United Methodist Church, 612 Farmington Falls Road. The sale starts at 8:00 AM and ends after noon. Bake sale profits benefit the Special Olympics, yard and plant sales support the missions of the church. Pony Rides will be available for youth! 05/26/2012 - Music for Three: crossover between voices and instruments in 3-part music of European Renaissance
Regionally recognized Farmington vocalist/instrumentalists, Jess and Sam Sytsma, will be joined by performer/composer Mary E. Larew, from New Haven, CT, to provide a program of music and period-style improvisation from the European Renaissance for voices and instruments in various combinations. This is the music of the courts and churches and festivals with its ethereal polyphonic harmonies enriched by improvisation inspiriting its embedded poetry of love and faith.  May 26, 7:30, Nordica Auditorium, UMF, Farmington. Donations at the door. Sponsored by Arts Institute of Western Maine, an affiliate of the University of Maine at Farmington. FMI 860-2674
