Biography:

Erin Cox, a 1997 graduate of Dirigo High School in Dixfield, Me., has returned after living in Alaska for 13 years. She is a reporter for the River Valley section of the Sun Journal and covers everything from town meetings and police beats to features about locals and issues that impact the area. She previously worked as a 911 dispatcher for multiple agencies in Alaska including the Alaska State Troopers before joining the Sun Journal Staff in August of 2011.
