05/18/2013 - Little Androscoggin clean-up
The Mollyockett Chapter of Trout Unlimited is planning a clean-up of the stretch of the Little Androscoggin River that runs through the towns of South Paris, Norway and Oxford on Saturday, May 18th, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. In addition to members of the Mollyockett Chapter, members of the OHCHS Key Club. On Monday, May 20th, the University of Maine 4H Camp at Bryant Pond will also be participating by continuing the clean-up from where the Saturday group left off. Both clean-up days are open to the public and volunteers from the community are more than welcome to attend either day. Participants for Saturday's clean-up are asked to gather/drop off gear behind the First Congregational Church in South Paris, which is located on RT 117, just south of Market Square. However, parking for the event will be across the street from church and at the Billings Dam park parking lot. Mollyockett will supply trash bags, but bring a lunch and waders if you have them.
