The Central Maine Medical Center College of Nursing and Health Professions graduated its first class of evening program students. Having successfully completed the two-year registered nursing education program, the 17 graduates were awarded associate degrees in the applied science of nursing. The students attended classes on Monday and Thursday evenings, and participated in the program’s clinical component on Friday evenings and Saturdays during the day. Speaking at the ceremony was LifeFlight of Maine registered nurse/paramedic Lori Metayer. Nancy Jo Ross, director of the CONHP Nursing Program, and Bonnie Colby, evening program coordinator, awarded pins and degrees.
