BRUNSWICK – Downeast Energy will award scholarships to 14 high school seniors and graduates who are already enrolled full-time at approved post-secondary community colleges in the career and technical programs for heating or building trades. Each scholarship is for $500 per academic year.
The recipients of this year’s scholarships include:
Sara Adams, from Lisbon, is attending University of Maine Farmington.
Mark Davis, from Mt. Ararat, Topsham, is attending Universal Technical Institute.
Courtney Gilman, from Maranacook, Readfield, is attending Wheaton.
Eric Ogren, from Maranacook, Readfield, is attending Husson.
Margaret Webber, from Mt. Ararat, Topsham, is attending Oklahoma State University.
