SAINT PETER, Minn. — Kelsey Doiron and Tom Ventrella received scholarships from the Hannaford Charitable Foundation.
Kelsey Doiron of Jay is the daughter of Jayne Toncer. Kelsey is attending the University of Southern Maine majoring in biochemistry.
Tom Ventrella of Fayette is the son of Mike and Janet Ventrella. Tom is attending Husson University majoring in pharmacy.
Hannaford scholarships are awarded each year to outstanding high school seniors, graduates planning to enroll or students already enrolled in a full-time course of study at an accredited college or university, junior college or a vocational/technical school.
Applicants must be full-time or part-time associates or dependent children of associates. Recipients of the Hannaford Scholarship Program scholarships are selected competitively on the basis of their academic records and personal achievements.
