SELINSGROVE, Pa.— Ceara Teixeira of Lewiston received the Outstanding Portfolio Award and departmental honors at Susquehanna University’s annual student awards luncheon in May.
Teixeira is a recent graduate majoring in graphic design. She is a 2008 graduate of St. Dominic Regional High School and the daughter of Randall and Lisa Teixeira of Lewiston.
CANTON, N.Y. — Haley Burrowes of New Gloucester studied in Ethiopia this summer as a participant in St. Lawrence University's Summerterm course there. A member of the class of 2014 at St. Lawrence, Burrowes is a graduate of Waynflete School, majoring in economics.

The graduates from the School of Arts and Sciences and the School of Engineering included Martin Donovan of Bethel, with a bachelor's degree in English; and Zachary Dumont of Auburn, with a bachelor's degree in religion, cum laude.
