LEWISTON — Lori Pomelow, director of Nursing Services at Russell Park Rehab & Living Center, has been chosen as Director of Nursing Services of the Year for the second year in a row by North Country Associates, owner of Russell Park and almost two dozen other care facilities in Maine and Massachusetts.
Pomelow has been in nursing and health care for more than 20 years, and just graduated with her bachelor's degree in social and behavioral sciences from the University of Southern Maine at Lewiston-Auburn College.
"Lori has always gone the extra mile for her patients and her staff, while still offering her team the leadership and direction necessary to provide the highest quality care," said Phil Jean, administrator of Russell Park and facility operations manager for North Country Associates. "She is the driving force for quality care at Russell Park."
Russell Park Rehabilitation & Living Center is a 103-bed facility that offers skilled nursing, rehabilitation and residential care as well as long-term care. It is on Russell Street.
