Rangeley man sentenced for stealing 46-inch TV

FARMINGTON — A Rangeley man was sentenced to seven days in jail and a $500 fine after he pleaded guilty Friday to stealing a 46-inch Sony TV.

Tucker Blythe, 19, was initially charged with felony burglary and theft, but the first charge was dismissed in a plea agreement. Blythe was arrested Feb. 9 by Rangeley police for taking the TV from a home. He will begin serving his sentence on Monday, Sept. 7.

He paid $400 of the fine Friday and plans to pay the balance within 30 days.
