LEWISTON - The Carlton Club/Club Texas softball team will be holding a pair of fundraisers this weekend to assist its trip to the ASA Nationals in Salem, Va., from Sept. 3-7.
The team will host a car wash Friday from 3 to 8 p.m. at Little Joe's, 740 Sabattus St. For more information, call Joe Walker at 333-1716.
There will be a benefit softball tournament starting at 8 a.m. Saturday at Randall Road complex. Cost is $125 plus two new Gold Dot softballs per team. Registration deadline is Thursday, with the draw to be held at 6 p.m. Friday. To register, call Walker or call Brian Boucher at 513-6794.
