McDonald promoted at Mechanics SB

AUBURN — Mechanics Savings Bank, with offices in Auburn, Lewiston and Windham, recently promoted Thomas McDonald to the position of executive vice president/chief risk and operations officer. McDonald is responsible for the bank’s management of risk, information technology and operations departments.
McDonald joined Mechanics Savings Bank in 2006, most recently serving as risk management officer. He holds an MBA from the University of Southern Maine and a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Maine. He is a member of the Risk Management Association Maine Chapter board of directors and the Maine Center for Creativity board of directors. In addition, he serves as treasurer for the Lewiston Rotary Club.
He lives in Scarborough with his wife and their two children.
