PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) — Police in Florida say a burglar who made off with a man's valuables returned to the home later while investigators were there and snatched what he couldn't carry on his first trip: a 100-pound plasma-screen TV.

The burglar had left the TV in the backyard and investigators were going to dust it for fingerprints.

But hours after the first burglary and with a Pensacola Police investigator still at the home, the robber came back and took the TV.

"They were all very embarrassed," the man who lived at the house, Steve Fluegge, told the Pensacola News Journal.

Police searched the neighborhood with dogs, but couldn't find the burglar or the TV.

Police have offered to pay for the TV.

Exactly Ted. What an

Exactly Ted. What an invitation leaving a plasma tv outside ubguarded for someone to show up some time/maybe to take fingerprints that will amount to nothing because the police there are too lazy there to processes them. Florida is experiencing the first drop in population in 63 years. 68,000 people have fled by state admission including my family and I would guess that number isn't even the tip of the iceberg. In Florida we have a no re treat law. I someone breaks into your house you do not have to try to escape before you defend yourself. Only problem is when the police show up they are likely to take the illegal who raped your wife and daughter to the hospital and free him and charge you with in the jail hospital ward with discharging a weapon inside the city limits. Florida is neither a safe place to live or visit anymore. Doors get kicked on at Disney and other resorts regularly though you wont here about it up here. Can't risk scaring the toutists away.

I think police departments

I think police departments everywhere should start giving IQ tests to all applicants. Once they have graduates who have IQs above 100, then administer tests to all current officers and fire all those who score lower than 100. It will decimate most departments, but would serve the public better.
