Meaghan A. Farris, 19, of Topsham, Whitney A. Brichetto, 39, of New Gloucester, and Tyler Pushard, 21, no hometown listed, were transported to Central Maine Medical Center, according to the Auburn Police Department. Pushard was a passenger in Farris' vehicle. All three were no longer listed as patients at the hospital as of Monday night, according to a nursing supervisor.
According to the police report, Farris was westbound on Danville Corner Road toward Beech Hill Road when she hit an SUV driven by Brichetto that was southbound on Washington Street. The accident occured at 8:05 p.m. Saturday. Other passengers included an 8-year-old in Brichetto's SUV and Christopher T. Degifico, 20, of Bowdoinham, who owned the car Farris was driving.
Damage to the 2002 Volkswagen four-door driven by Farris and owned by DeGifico estimated at $9,000; to the 2004 Chevrolet SUV driven by Brichetto and owned by David Brichetto, of New Gloucester, $6,000.
