An oak tree fell across power, phone and cable lines late Wednesday morning on routes 35 and 37 under the Bear Mountain Ledges in Waterford. Central Maine Power Co. lineman Brent Phinney ties together broken lines with the mountain in the background.  Much of the town was without power until about 2 p.m.
