Everything red'

LIVERMORE - Charity Rebekah Lodge of Livermore Falls will meet Wednesday, Feb. 9, at the Ralph Wright Memorial Building, 294 Federal Road. The gathering will start with a potluck at 12:30 p.m. This will be an "everything red" meeting - including the food. Hostesses will be Hilda Corkum and Mildred Wright. People attending are being asked to bring a baby picture of themselves for the 1:30 p.m. meeting.

Noontime jazz

FARMINGTON - The Mt. Blue High School Jazz Band directed by Karen Beacham will perform from 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 9, in Nordica Auditorium at the University of Maine at Farmington. Donations will be accepted at the door; all are welcome to attend. More information may be obtained by calling 778-7138.

Coffeehouse

FARMINGTON - A G.I. Coffeehouse will be held from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11, at Old South Church on Main Street. People attending are being encouraged to bring their favorite CDs and enjoy the music, conversation and coffee. They are also welcome to bring donations for the troops. Items such as sunglasses, foot powder, socks, pens and paper, toilet paper and sunscreen are being collected.
