Boys' soccer added to SAD 52 camp

TURNER - SAD 52 has added a week of summer soccer for boys entering grades 7 and 8 to its summer camp schedule. The camp will be held at the Leavitt Area High School soccer field July 13-17 from 9 to 11 a.m. Cost is $30.

Mt. Blue Youth Football conditioning clinic
FARMINGTON - Mt. Blue Area Youth Football will hold a summer conditioning clinic for three consecutive Sundays beginning July 12. The clinic will be held at Kemp Field on Farmington Falls Road and is open to all area athletes entering grades 3 to 8. Coaches also are encouraged to participate. Registration time is 5:30 p.m., with the clinic from 6 to 8 p.m. Cost is $5 per day, $8 for two days for $12 for all three days. Fee for coaches is $10. All fees are payable to MBAYF. This is not a SAD 9 program.
Individual clinics will cover foot speed, quickness and agility; plyometrics and fundamentals of strength and conditioning; and an overview of proper nutritional preparedness. Athletes and coaches are encouraged to wear gym attire and well-supported sneakers.
