AUGUSTA (AP) — The average price of heating oil in Maine has fallen another 3 cents per gallon for the second consecutive weekly decline.
The Maine Office of Energy Independence and Security said Tuesday that heating oil averaged $2.37 a gallon in its weekly survey.
As usual, there were wide swings in the price.
The highest price was found in eastern and northern Maine, where No. 2 oil reached $2.70 a gallon; the lowest price was in southwestern Maine, where a price of $2.04 was found.
