Seasoned worker forum offered
LEWISTON — The Seasoned Workforce LLC, in conjunction with the Lewiston CareerCenter, the Western/Central Workforce Investment Board and several local businesses, will sponsor a free Seasoned Worker Forum on Sept. 17 from 12:30 to 3 p.m. at the Lewiston CareerCenter, 5 Mollison Way.
The Seasoned Workforce Web site (http://www.seasonedworkforce.com ) provides important information, news and helpful links for seasoned workers and to age-neutral employers.

Something new under the sun
I know it is an election year and this is too well timed to be a coincidence but you have to admit you never, ever would see something like this coming from a Republican administration. I also take it as a sign the economy is in better shape than most people admit. I doubt the banks would have agreed to this unless they could easily afford it.
