Western Maine Fish & Game hosting hunter safety course

HARRISON - The Western Maine Fish and Game Club will be holding a Hunter Safety Course on September 19 and 20. The class will take place at the fire station. The course will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days. Registration will be at 7:30 a.m. Saturday.

There is a $3 charge per person to help defray costs. Students must attend both days in order to receive a certificate of completion. Students are asked not to bring any weapons or live ammo to the class. You must be at least 10 years old to attend, and anyone under the age of 18 must have their parent sign the registration card Saturday morning. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
