Independence Parade

JAY -- The early Independence Parade went off Friday evening under bright blue skies and warm temperatures.  Sponsored by the Jay, Livermore and Livermore Falls Chamber of Commerce, it started at 5 p.m. at the MEMCO parking lot off Main Street in Jay and went down Main Street in Livermore Falls and dispersed on Depot Street.
Organizers had considered postponing it due to the weather forecast, but decided to go forward with it.
