Boucher Memorial 5K is Sunday

AUBURN - The third-annual Bob Boucher Memorial 5-kilometer Run/Walk will be held Sunday, Sept. 20th at 9 a.m. The race starts at St. Dominic Regional High School on Gracelawn Road.

Boucher was a teacher, coach, athletic sirector and avid supporter of St. Dom's. During Boucher's tenure at St. Dom's, he dedicated countless hours contributing in many ways to the athletic department and student athletes. He was appreciated and respected by many during his years of service to the school.

All proceeds from this event will benefit the many athletes and teams of St. Dominic Regional High School. St. Dom's fields many outstanding sports teams with more than 200 student-athletes. The sports programs of St. Dom's rely greatly on fundraising events for their continued success.

Registration for the 5K is $15, or $20 on the day of the event. Entry forms are available online at www.st-dominic.net or by calling 782-6911.

There will also be a pancake breakfast hosted by the Booster Club and Mission to Mississippi from 9 a.m. to noon. It includes Mailhot's sausage, pancakes, maple or blueberry syrup and beverages for $5. The breakfast is open to everyone. For more information, please call 786-3088 or email sdrhsboosters@aol.com.
