Daryn Slover/Sun Journal

Jeremy McElfresh, left, of Lewiston teaches Dru Hyndman, 4, of Auburn how to tie a bowline knot during Kid's Day America at Montello Elementary School in Lewiston on Saturday. McElfresh is the Cubmaster for Cub Scout Pack 007 and is one of many volunteers who helped treat more than 400 children to a day of health, safety and environmental awareness. It was the sixth year Dr. Chandra Sasseville, a Lewiston chiropractor, has organized the event.
