Catherine Johnson of Mexico warms her hands against a working geothermal water furnace on Saturday morning in the Community Energy booth at the River Valley Expo in the Mountain Valley High School gymnasium. As one of 75 participating vendors and organizations, Community Energy won the event's Best of Show award for its display with a working furnace, a personal and friendly attitude, leading an energy conservation class every hour in the auditorium, and getting six employees out to help with the booth, said River Valley Chamber of Commerce Administrator Cherri Crockett.
