Free workshop on money offered

FARMINGTON — A free workshop, offered by Women, Work and Community and sponsored by Camden National Bank, will help people learn ways to track expenses, offer advice on the wise use of credit and how to reduce debt. Money-saving tips and how to build a budget will also be offered.

The workshop will be offered from 9 to 11:30 a.m. on Oct. 6 at Camden National Bank, 134 Hannaford Drive, Farmington. Registration by Oct. 3 is required.

The workshop is designed for women and men from all backgrounds. For more information and to register, contact Janet Smith at 778-2757, or janet.smith@maine.edu.

This introductory class leads into a 15-hour workshop "Financing Your Future — Make the Most of Your Money," which will be offered in the fall. Information about all Women, Work and Community programs throughout the state can be found at: www.womenworkandcommunity.org.
