Let me start by saying this

Let me start by saying this is one of the most unfair leagues I have ever signed my children up for. Now I know why many of the kids did not come back. A few problems with this league is the fact that if you are not "good enough" you do not play in the game, their are kids who hardly ever play in the games because it is their first year or some other reason, whatever the so called reason these kids should all play the same amount so they can all advance thinking they are somebody. How can they expect these kids to get better if they dont even play. It is not all about winning, it is about making good football players out of these kids. We pay $75.00 a kid for this and the sit on the sidelines every game. Also the league is very clicky and and if you are not part of a certain team you are looked down upon, you are talked about, and you are just not liked. Every team deserves as much attention as the other teams, every kid deserves as much attention as the others. And as I keep seeing in these articles the coaches and assistant coaches kids are always put in the spotlight. How about putting everyones name in the paper at least once to make them feel important. Their are kids who have done more tackles and better on offense and never get mentioned.
The equipment that is being used is old and needs replacing.
These kids are treated like they play for the NFL, and the coaches need to realize that they dont.
I hope that someday they will change the rules so that parents of the children cannot coach. It is not fair to the others when their kids play all game and other kids do not. If you notice all the younger kids just stand on the sides all game and this league soaked $75.00 out of the parents pockets for that, it just isnt right.
There is also a huge smoking issue with this league, people keep smoking in their cars and hiding around corners on school grounds to smoke. So many of them still driving in smoking in the car with kids, which by the way is against the law. Yes the president has tried to fix the problem but its still there. There is a lot of swearing and fighting on the sidelines.
There was a coach who pushed one of the kids on the seniors team during a game, there was a coach who called a player on the juniors team a "wimp" because he got injured. There are so many things going on that are uncalled for and that make these kids self-esteem crap.
I also saw the post where these people were praising a coach on a certain team for doing such a great job being a coach. Im sorry but making signs and shirts about the team you are playing against is not good sportsmanship and should NEVER be allowed at this age group.
The cheating is also a huge problem their are coaches who are doing illegal things that they know are illegal and just dont care. Maybe the refs will start picking up on more of these.
