I don't get all these letters and op-ed pieces in the Sun Journal lately slamming Fox News and talk radio. Is it because Sean Hannity, Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'Reilly, etc., allow opposing points of view to be aired on their programs? Maybe their programs should be more like those of "open-minded" liberals Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann.
You know the format: Spend the entire program blasting the opposition. Don't have any guest on who might refute what they say or correct anything they've taken out of context. In fact, only have guests on who agree with them.
I may be old-fashioned, but watching people parroting the same story and nodding in agreement with each other is not objective journalism.
Some might like that kind of program. Some might call it journalistic cowardice. I call it propaganda.
