Cole named county administrator in Oxford
Oxford County Commission Chairman David Duguay said Scott Cole will begin orientation on Oct. 13 to replace county administrator Carole Mahoney Fulton, who is retiring at the end of the year.
Cole was unanimously selected by a five-member panel consisting of the commissioners, Fulton, and Oxford County Sheriff Wayne Gallant.
Cole has worked in public administration for 18 years, including 10 years as town manager of Bethel.
He has a bachelor's degree in agriculture economics and master's degree in public administration, and also served in the U.S. Army for six years.

Personally i favor hydropower ( the St. Johns River ) , your Bay of Fundy tides , and geothermal ( IMBY Puna geothermal ) but i am in Hawai'i where we still use mostly Alaskan oil , unfortunately

Again it should depend on what we provide for services. If you don't like providing a service, don't do so and then we will not have to fund it. It's so simple, why can't you grasp the concept. Pay for the services that are provided, if you don't want the services then have them voted down. When bush slashed taxes for the wealthy, he did not slash any spending, so he refused to pay for what he was spending. President Obama has tried to pay for the services he is providing, but republicans REFUSE to fund the government. They are so unpatriotic.
